Job fair for veterans today

WTSP-TV CBS 10 Morning Show - Tampa

Janie Porter Reporting – Military members and their families are invited to a free job fair at the David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts, formerly known as the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center today from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

More than ten companies and agencies that are currently hiring will be there, including Bank of America, the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, the Internal Revenue Service, Lockheed Martin Corporation, Military SeaLift Command, the Transportation Security Administration and Prudential Insurance Company.

There will also be educational institutions on site for veterans who want to use their GI Bill benefits.

More than 300 veterans are expected to attend the Recruit Military Opportunity Expo.
