400 Veterans Attend Career Opportunity Expo

About 400 local veterans looking to start the next phase of their careers had a chance to learn about their options on Thursday at an opportunity expo.

The group RecruitMilitary organized the event at the Touchdown Club at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium.

Companies who are specifically looking to hire veterans were on hand meeting with job seekers.

A number of universities were also on hand so veterans could learn about education options.
