What are Opportunity Expos?
Opportunity Expos are military-to-civilian recruiting events that connect transitioning military, veterans who already have civilian work experience, members of the National Guard and reserves, and military spouses and other family members with direct employers, franchisors, and educational institutions.

Opportunity Expos are produced by RecruitMilitary in cooperation with The American Legion and Purple Heart Services.
- RecruitMilitary will host 73 events in 37 cities in 2010
- Multiple e-mail invitations are sent to precisely targeted candidates in our database at recruitmilitary.com
- The average attendance per event is over 350 veterans
- RecruitMilitary engages in pre-event communications with all major media outlets in the Expo region, including television, print, and radio
- Expos are reported by at least three media outlets per event
What does it cost?
The fee for the Package is $8,000 per event, representing a savings of 36%, based on (1) an independent evaluation of our media coverage and (2) fees that our clients would pay for individual parts of the Package.
- Exclusive company mentions in all media interviews at the Expo.
An independent media monitoring service has estimated the publicity value of just the television coverage of our Expos at $6,000 per event. - Your name and logo on all electronic materials promoting the event.
We e-mail three invitations per event to an average of 750 candidates in our database at recruitmilitary.com. Our equivalent product is the E-Mail Blast; the fee for three blasts to 750 recipients is 3 X $895 = $2,685. - Your company identified as the corporate sponsor on our website.
Our equivalent product is a banner ad, the fee for which is $1,000.
